Prepping for Fall

09/15/2010

Although temperatures are still hanging around 90 degrees, our thoughts have turned to fall plantings.  With September's arrival we moved from planning to action: turning beds, burning weed seeds, and starting seeds in anticipation of a bountiful autumn harvest.

What you can expect this fall:
  • lettuce
  • broccoli
  • beets
  • collards
  • spinach
  • kale
  • blueberry jelly
  • strawberry jelly
  • strawberry zucchini jelly

Our jams are made on farm with our own delicious summer harvest ... great for breakfasts when you're entertaining or a gift during the holidays.
